Known Issues and Solutions

Right-Click / Copy-Paste Not Working​

On some browser versions — particularly on Windows — right-clicking the mouse does not work as expected. Installing a browser extension resolves this.

Chrome​

Install the Absolute Enable Right Click & Copy extension from the Chrome Web Store:

  1. Click Add to Chrome
  2. Navigate to your Maestrow page
  3. Click the puzzle piece icon in the browser bar and pin the extension
  4. Click the extension icon and select Enable or Absolute Mode

You may need to refresh the page (F5) after enabling the extension for it to take effect.

caution

If the page starts behaving unexpectedly, toggle the extension off and refresh the page to return it to normal.

Edge — Option 1: Microsoft Edge Add-ons​

  1. Click the Extensions icon (puzzle piece) next to the address bar
  2. Select Open Microsoft Edge Add-ons
  3. Search for "Right Click" and click Get

Two recommended extensions:

  • Allow Right-Click — lightweight, activates on demand
  • Activate Enable Right Click & Copy — includes a red/green badge showing whether the override is active

Edge — Option 2: Chrome Web Store​

Because Edge is Chromium-based, you can install Chrome extensions directly into Edge:

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store
  2. Click Allow extensions from other stores in the blue banner at the top
  3. Search for Absolute Enable Right Click & Copy and click Add to Chrome — it will install into Edge
