How to Delete a Private Flight Schedule
This guide explains how to delete a private flight schedule, and what to do if deletion is blocked by Deletion Protection.
Where to find it
- Go to the Schedule Maintenance page.
- Find your private schedule's card in the list. Private schedules are marked with a small P badge next to the schedule name (a schedule without this badge is a Worldwide SSIM schedule, not a private one).
Deleting a schedule
- On the schedule card, tap the ⋮ (kebab) icon in the top-right corner. This opens a menu of actions.
- Tap Delete (trash icon).
- A confirmation dialog appears:
Warning! You are about to delete a Flight Schedule. Do you want to continue?
- Tap Yes/Confirm to proceed. You'll see a Delete successful! toast once it's done.
If something goes wrong, a Delete failed toast is shown and the schedule is left untouched.
If deletion is blocked
If the schedule has Deletion Protection turned on, tapping Delete will not show the confirmation dialog. Instead you'll immediately see this toast:
This flight schedule is protected from deletion. Disable Deletion Protection before deleting.
To delete a protected schedule, you must first turn protection off:
- Tap the ⋮ icon on the card and choose Update to open the edit form.
- Find the Deletion Protection toggle (below the schedule period selector).
- Switch it off and save your changes.
- Return to the card, tap ⋮ → Delete, and confirm as described above.
Note: New private schedules have Deletion Protection on by default, so you'll typically need to disable it in the edit form before a first-time delete.
