Using Profiles

Profiles help you write smarter, faster prompts by storing reusable lists — like competitors, partners, or product codes — that you can reference with a single phrase instead of typing out every item.

Know which profile you are using

There are two profile types: Your Profile and the Company Profile (only an administrator can edit the Company Profile).

  • When referencing an item in your personal profile, use the term My — e.g., My Partners
  • When referencing an item in the Company profile, use the term Company — e.g., Company Competitors

What Is a Profile?

A profile is a shortcut system for long lists. Instead of typing out every item in a prompt, you store them in a profile and reference them by name.

Without a profile, your prompt might look like this:

Include these airlines: AA, AC, AE, AF, AI, AM, AR, AS, AT, AY, AZ, BA, BG, BI, BR, B6, CA, CI, CX, CZ, DL, D3, EK, ET, EY, FM, FZ, GA, GF, GP, HM, HR, IB, IY, JJ, JK, JL, J2, KA, KC, KE, KF, KK, KL, KQ, KU, LG, LH, LO, LX, ME, MF, MH, MI, MK, MS, MU, OA, OK, OS, OU, OZ, PG, PK, PR, PZ, QF, QR, RJ, RO, SA, SK, SN, SQ, SU, TG, TK, TP, TU, UA, UL, UX, VN, VR, VS, WF, WY, 4Q, 6S, 9B, 9W

With a profile, that becomes:

List all Company Competitors

How Profiles Work in Prompts

Each profile is organised into categories — named groups of items such as Competitors, Partners, or trueOND.

When writing a prompt, reference a category by combining the profile prefix with the category name:

What you typeWhat it resolves to
Company CompetitorsThe competitors list in your Company Profile
My PartnersThe partners list in your Personal Profile
Company trueONDA list of O&D pairs in your Company Profile

This keeps prompts clean, consistent, and easy to maintain across your team.

How to Edit a Profile

Profiles use a simple markup format. Each category starts with a ### header and contains a bullet list of items.

Syntax

###Category Name###
- Item 1
- Item 2
- Item 3

Example

###Company Competitors###
- AA
- AF
- AC
- AE

You can define multiple categories in a single profile — just start and end each new one with ###.

Best Practices

  • Use consistent naming — stick to conventions like Company Partners and My Partners so prompts are predictable.
  • Keep lists up to date — especially for competitors and partners that change frequently.
  • Use the right profile for the right scope — Company Profile for shared, organisation-wide lists; Personal Profile for individual workflows.
  • Avoid duplicating items across categories unless there is a specific reason.
